MGRVV Patience is well suited to her name. She and Sparky came out from Valorie's Vanners in Texas at the same time when they were both halfway into their second year. The half-sisters dearly love each other. They are our ‘bookends’. I hope to teach them to work in tandem pulling a wagon when I get a bit more time (I’m working full time.)

Patience is a very classic looking gypsy, broad and beautiful, with a full mane and plenty of feather. She is a gentle girl, always eyeing her human companions to see what they need. Patience is the horse I take out first for visitors to ride, and even before she was saddle trained, to lead and play with. Some of my favorite pictures are of Patience with my friend’s now six-year old nephew, Elijah, who has fallen in love with Patience. Patience rode last year in our little Alpine Christmas parade (her first) along with Mia, and loved it! Another favorite Patience picture was taken by my trainer, Alex, when she was ‘desensitizing’ Patience to various articles (Little Blue Riding Hood in the gallery).

Patience Sire is Bandon and her Dam is Willow both beautiful horses from Valories Vanner’s in Texas : See the last pictures in the gallery below.

Patience first foal is on our Sales Page, Katie (https://sonnetgypsyranch.com/katie.html) and we couldn’t be more pleased with this cross to Gypsy Gold’s King William, son of the Gypsy King. Patience is in foal for spring 2015 to Stillwater Farms Deja Blue. Patience’ classic confirmation has played very well with King William and did produce the anticipated beautiful sweet huge hairy tank that is Katie. We are pretty sure she’ll do something special with lovely Deja Blue, too.

You can checkout a favorite Patience video here which pretty much says it all for Patience, and the very special talents of our wonderful young trainer, Alex…..
